I am pleased to write a letter of reference for OOO, the winner of Odyssey of the Mind final in Korea. 

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. 

Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. 

They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. 

Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 45 other countries participate in the program for over 40 years sponsored by NASA since 1978. The Korea Creative Human Resources Development Association (KCHRDA) does its best to develop and provide various creative education platforms so that all students who strive to improve their ability to create convergence can access an optimized education system.

In all of my observations of OOO, she has made her Odyssey team in her school, and they prepared the Odyssey regional competitions with all their hearts. 

As a result, her team got a Grand Prix Award in Korea Odyssey of the Mind Olympiad and an Award from Minister(by Hyesook Lim) of Science and ICT. 

They also got the 1^st Place in Korea-China Odyssey of the Mind Olympiad. So, they received a ticket to 2022 Odyssey of the mind world finals as the representative of Korea. The world final was held in Iowa State University in the summer of 2022 supported by NASA.

OOO’s creative strengths are complemented by her demonstrated leadership skills. As a team leader, she was always cheerful and willing to assist with any task. In addition, OOO was motivated and interested in learning. 

To this end, she often accompanied her care teams on their rounds so that she knew the status and needs of each individual team members. During the whole regional competitions and the world final, OOO displayed a level of creativity, wit, and analytical thought that is quite rare among high school students.

I was delighted to hear that OOO is applying for the college. As well as being a dedicated, caring, creative student, I believe she possesses many of the qualities that will make her a very successful addition to your school community.
